SCHOOL OF BASIC STUDIES (IJMB & JUPEB)
Enter 200 Level without JAMB by Direct Entry with IJMB/JUPEB.
Introduction
Enter 200 Level without JAMB by Direct Entry with IJMB/JUPEB. A-Level Exams is also known as advanced Level examinations. They are an advanced examination conducted by an approved body like NUC, JAMB and being organized by a body promoting education in line with a particular vision and aim. You can study three or more A-levels over the final two years before commencing university. A-Levels are assessed using a set of examinations. In Nigeria, two examination bodies called Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) and Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) are approved accredited examination bodies to award A-Level certificates to candidates willing to gain admission to Universities by direct entry. The usefulness of IJMB and JUPEB has an annual average rate of 75% success in Students intakes into Nigeria universities compared to 20% success rate for JAMB candidates. The IJMB and JUPEB certificates are valid for admission with no expiry time limit, unlike JAMB that is yearly.

Our team will make certain that the time spent reviewing and answering past exam papers will be a vital focus of the curriculum.

O/L Programme
The Ordinary Level examination is meant to remedy deficiencies in English Language and Mathematics at the same level in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or Cambridge (CIE) result. As students having deficiencies in O/Level English Language and Mathematics in their WAEC, NECO or NABTEB examination can sit for these subjects. Such students are not necessarily A/L students. You can register for one or both O/Level subjects, depending on the number of deficiencies
With the right combination of A/Level subjects, students will be able to pursue their degree programmes in their chosen Universities.
A/L Programme
Students on this programme are required to register and sit for three (3) A/L subjects in the examination. These subjects must be chosen from the list provided at the right pane here and relevant to the undergraduate programmes they wish to go for in the Universities. You may need to consult the brochure for necessary guidance regarding subjects that are relevant to your proposed degree programme. However, you will still need to check specific details regarding each university of your consideration. You can also contact us for counselling.

Available Categories
Boarding Students (staying on campus):
Boarding school students are typically referred to as "boarders". Students in this category stay within the school premises within the period of their academic years except during holidays. Parents of these students are allowed to visit their wards on the official visiting days authorized and announced by the school authority. Students in boarding system are guided by some set of rules and regulations which must be obeyed without exception and parents are not allowed to enter into the dormitory with them. Each student is expected to resume into their hostels with required personal items such as mattress, toiletries, provisions, etc. excluding bed bunk without mattress. Food are not being served but students can buy food at affordable prices from accredited registered food vendors. All medical information regarding all students must be sufficiently disclosed with the family registered hospital that must not be more than one (1) hour to two (2) hours of drive.
- Day Students (coming from individual Houses):
Day school students are students returning home at the end of the day's learning. They are guided by the set of rules and regulations of the school but excluded from the rules and regulations guiding boarders only. They are not expected to enter into the dormitory under any pretext.
- Online Students (Receiving lectures from anywhere in the world including Nigeria):
Online students are students who are enrolled into the programmes of Basic Studies but do not need to attend classes on campus and can complete their studies over the Internet. We have robust ICT infrastructures that allow these students to access lectures, assignments, examination, group projects, etc. without issues. These students may be requested to participate physically on campus activities especially both school and final exams for few weeks during the duration of their studies. However, they substantially attend all their programmes online.
